My little sister is getting married! It still blows my mind, especially now that it's just weeks away and we have already had her bridal shower.
Being that the wedding is jewel tones, silver, and sparkles I decided to go with the theme "Shine Bright Like a Diamond" and the colors pink and bright teal! Back in September, Rachel and I hosted a jewelry party and Rachel had designed a fun diamond themed printable set that I decided to use and build on!
Lots of the decorations were DIY and I decided to serve a simple menu of tea sandwiches, pasta salad, chips, and appetizers. I also had a fun dessert table featuring Nothing Bundt Cake bundinits , a chocolate fountain and mini donuts to look like diamond rings!
The only other bridesmaid who lives in town was very helpful and took care of the games and prizes portion of the party being the party control freak I am relinquishing the entire entertainment segment was a lot for me but she did a fantastic job (might I add even better than I would have done). We played the classic toilet paper bride game, a fun game where a story was read and gifts were passed left and right when the word was said in the story and she had the bride answer questions about the groom and when she got it wrong she had to put a marshmallow in her mouth, funny stuff.
I had a lot of fun making this a special event for my sister. Can't wait to share all the fun wedding stuff.
