Do you have picky eater problems? I sure do. My three and a half year old is a picky, picky kid! As I touched on in my review of V8 V-Fusion Strawberry Banana Juice he likes his peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and not much else. I have a hard time getting him to try any food that isn't on the "Dallas Approved List."As an effort for him to try new things I put new foods on his plate at least once a day. Most of the time they go untouched.. but every once in a while he'll get brave and try something new.
Mommalogues and V8 V-Fusion wanted to know if Ithought picky eaters were born or created. Being the mom of two very different little boys I know that, in my case anyways, picky eaters are born, not always created! My two year old will try almost anything and enjoys lots of different foods. In fact, if I make him a PB&J like his brother has.. and I sit down to eat something else, there's a pretty good chance that he'll be asking for bites off of my plate.
As a mom, I want my son to have a full belly. If that means I have to make the same meal day-in and day-out I will do that. Luckily, there are quite a few fruits on his "Approved List" and I give those out aplenty often referring to my children are fruit powered. However, there is not one vegetable on the list. I've tried sneaking veggies into tasty smoothies or a meal I know he likes but I am often found out... smart little bugger! It's so nice knowing that I can incorporate servings of vegetables into both of their diets by giving them a tasty juice, V8 V-Fusion.
How could I not want the best for these two silly faces!
So we wanna know, do you think picky eaters are born or created? How do you deal with your picky kids?
