Glitter Academy Dec 2013

Because I am way behind on posting I still wanted to share a fun Girls night out from back in early December.

On a Friday afternoon Jamie and I left work a few minutes early to made a break for downtown Phoenix. I met up with the super talented Stacey of Dream Photography Studio to take my head shot for the West Valley Moms Blog where I am now a contributor. It was my first time actually meeting Stacey and she is so super nice. I've seen her photography and it's awesome, can't wait to get my head shot back!

Once that was complete, (like five minutes later, she's a pro) Jamie and I headed to Lola which is a coffee shop downtown that she raves about in downtown Phoenix. We grabbed some white mocha's, mine iced, hers warm and hung out and chatted for a while. Then, being the super nice wife she is, she grabbed a coffee and we delivered it to her husbands office down the street.

We made our way, in traffic, to Chandler for The Glitter Academy.  Being that we were early and the event was at The Old Spaghetti Factory which is at Chandler Fashion Center we went into the mall to look around. So proud of us, we didn't buy a single thing. We made it back to the restaurant to still be first in line, we checked in, picked our fabric to make a wreath and chose seats. Then it was time to mingle, eat and craft. There were raffle prizes for crafty fun and Rachel won two things, lucky duck!

The decorations were gorge, the food was great and the company was fun. Can't wait for the next one.
