MistleTOES

I know we just talked about teacher gifts, now lets discuss gifts for the grandparents (Mom don't look!)! I like for the boys to have a gift for their grandparents so I try to do some sort of craft with them which is even more special.
This year I was planning on doing four footprints since combined they have four feet. A tree, a reindeer, a snowman, and a penguin. However, after getting out four different colors of paint I changed my mind as four colors and four painted feet sounded a little too daunting. So I pulled out the green paint and decided to make some mistletoe prints using one of each of their feet. We made one for each set of grandparents as well as one for mommy and daddy.. duhh!!

Like I did for the Halloween foot and hand prints we did this craft in the master bathroom for quick clean up. I did learn to have water in the tub ready to go to put their foot in right after the prints! Both boys loved getting their foot painted and Griffin kept wiggling his toes around to feel the paint squish between his toes, silly kiddo! They listened super well and sat them down nicely on the paper so we got some good looking prints!

I added each kids name just inside their footprint , cut out a bow, added some washi tape as a frame and made a cut out of the word MistleTOES which is sharpied (is that a word? It should be!) right onto the paper. I loved how it looks layered since it overlapped the tape as well!
