Are you looking for a fun new twist on a traditional favorite?? I came up with a fun recipe combining chicken enchilada flavors with a ton ton form and I must say that these tasty little won tons are hard to stop eating!
What You Need:
1 chicken breast, diced
1 can of La Victoria Red Enchilada Sauce (4 tablespoons to cook with the rest for dipping)
1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
16-20 Won Ton Wrappers
Salt and pepper to taste
1 egg white
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Over med/high heat cook diced chicken breast with 2 tablespoons of La Victoria Red Enchilada Sauce and salt and pepper to taste.
Once chicken is cooked though add in 2 additional tablespoons of La Victoria Red Enchilada Sauce and a 1/2 cup of cheese.
Keep stirring until cheese is melted. Place in separate bowl.
Add a small amount of chicken enchilada mixture into the middle of a won ton wrapper and brush the edges with egg white. Fold over and seal the won ton.
Carefully fold corners down and use egg white to seal corners together into won ton shape.
Place on greased baking sheet.
Bake for 10 minutes.
Serve with warmed enchilada sauce to dip won ton into.
